Milan’s largest airport will be renamed and named after the country’s former prime minister, the late Silvio Berlusconi, international media reports with reference to the country’s transport minister Matteo Salvini.
The swashbuckling Berlusconi, who was born in Milan, managed to lead four governments with his right-wing party Forza Italia during his time in politics.
He died last year, aged 86.
