Earlier, the union has notified a more extensive strike on Monday, including Munich and Frankfurt airports, which is included, which in turn can affect a total of about 800,000 travelers.
The message has consequences for the Nordic airlines Norwegian and SAS.
– We have canceled flights to Berlin, Hamburg and Düsseldorf and put in extra flights tomorrow, all passengers have been informed, says Norwegian’s communications manager Charlotte Holmbergh to Norwegian Dagbladet.
Affects more airports
Norwegian estimates that about 1,000 passengers are covered. For SAS, flights to Hamburg from Copenhagen and Stockholm have been affected. It is unclear to what extent the company is covered tomorrow.
The reason for the strike is that the union requires 8 percent wage increase to its members as well as better bonus agreements and three more days off.
