A small plane has crashed into a lake in Grängesberg in Ljusnarsberg municipality. The alarm came in shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. According to the SOS alarm, two people were on board.
– The people must be awake and talkative, says William Kokkonen, SOS alarm.
Callers must have seen the aircraft quickly lose altitude and crash into lake Södra Hörken.
– The two people who were in the plane got out themselves and sat on the fuselage when the rescue service arrived and towed the plane to the shore. They are unharmed but of course shocked, says Peter Persson, duty officer, police region Bergslagen.
It is still unclear what caused the crash.
– We don’t know why they fell in this situation, says Persson.
