Crashed into an aircraft industrial facility in Argentina. The pilot lost his life when a two-seater, single-engine Cessna 152 belonging to Air Liquide crashed into the headquarters of Air Liquide, which sells medical oxygen, in Rosario.
The fire that broke out after the impact was extinguished, but the flames did not reach the areas where gas and oxygen tanks were stored, preventing a disaster. State Civil Protection Director Marcos Escajadillo said a concrete pillar prevented the plane from hitting the oxygen tanks directly.
“IT MAY BE A PLANNED ACTION”
Authorities reported that the pilot was fired a few months ago, and that the incident may have been a planned action and that an investigation has been launched. It was learned that the pilot shared a visual depicting the explosion on his social media account before the accident. (İHA)
