AIK’s giant defeat against Västervik – scored seven goals on nine shots

AIK went from 3–0 to 7–0 in just over five minutes during the start of the second period. The away team Västervik chose to change goalkeepers after the fourth conceded goal, but it did not help much.

Extra remarkable was that the home team scored seven goals on their first nine shots in the match.

Västervik certainly reduced the game, but AIK then responded by going up to a 9–1 lead before the third period.

Four of the home team’s goals were scored by 36-year-old veteran Richard Gynge.
