(Finance) – One study quoted by the New York Post said that up to 80% of American workers could see their jobs affected by theartificial intelligence. In particular the subject of the report is the impact of Chat GPT on the world of work. Researchers from OpenAI and the University of Pennsylvania argued that 80% of workforce US could have at least 10% of their jobs affected by the introduction of ChatGPT. For about 19% of workers, it could reach at least 50%.
Experts have pointed out that this does not equate to fully automated tasks from the GPT, but that the technology it could save workers “a significant amount of time by completing most of their tasks”.
