Ahead of UK election – Brits fed up with Tories

The opinion polls ahead of the British general election on Thursday point in the same direction: the opposition Labor party with Keir Starmer at the helm seems to be heading for a landslide victory.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s conservative Tory party has been in power for 14 years, and now many Britons seem to be yearning for change.

    Latest opinion poll

    Labor gets according the latest survey, as done by YouGov, 425 seats in the British House of Commons, where 326 are required for a majority. An increase of 223 mandates from the previous election. The Tories on the other hand collect only 108 seats, a loss of 257 seats.
