(Finance) – The Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francis Lollobrigidadeclared that “upon the closure of the Ismea electronic desk for completing applications relating to the promissory note loan for fruit and vegetableson the first day of opening, over 500 applications were validated for an amount equal to 15,280,279 euros and another 413 are being validated, worth over 3 million euros. Funds of over 19 million euros are running out.”
“These numbers – he added – confirm the success of the new Ismea credit line to support the fruit and vegetable supply chain. The number of applications submitted, in so few hours, demonstrates that the Government is working in the right direction and is giving timely responses to businesses.”
