“Our goal is to approach the agricultural world in a systematic way: perfect processes and eliminate waste and chemicals harmful to the environment and to humans – comments Benjamin Franchetti – In the traditional agro-food system, about 1/3 of food resources are wasted in the various stages of the supply chain, production, transformation, distribution and consumption, with negative consequences on the environment. In Agricola Moderna we are committed every day to ensure that waste is reduced to a minimum along the entire production chain. We will save about 95% of water and land and we will make the process more and more circular: the water evaporated from the plants, for example, will not be wasted but analysed, replenished with mineral salts and reintroduced into the system”.
