(Finance) – The second edition of the “Carlotta Award 2022“Reserved for female researchers under 40 engaged in the genetic improvement of wheat and other cereals. To participate in the award, you must submit your application by June 15, 2022.
The “Carlotta Award 2022”, promoted by AENEASNational Academy of Sciences known as the XL and METROFOOD, is dedicated to Carlotta Parisani Strampelli wife and collaborator of the great Italian geneticist Nazareno Strampellifor its important contribution to obtaining new varieties of highly productive wheat, already celebrated in 2018 with the first edition of the event, on the 150th anniversary of its birth.
The winners will be selected by a jury of experts who will evaluate the most original experimental work, in which the candidate must appear as sole or first author, accompanied by a detailed curriculum vitae and from the list of publications. Equally, the youngest will be awarded as an incentive for her scientific and professional growth and four special mentions will also be awarded.
There ceremony award ceremony will take place at Bologna in October as part of the second edition of the International Conference “From Seed to Pasta IV”, the most important international congress on cereals and derived food products (Bologna, 26-28 October 2022).
