Bayern and Tottenham have reached an agreement for the transfer to Munich of center forward Harry Kane (30), for a record sum for the Bundesliga above 100 million euros, according to several German and English media, Thursday August 10. To replace Robert Lewandowski at the forefront of his attack, Bayern will therefore have taken more than a year to bring in Harry Kane, breaking the bank while the Bavarian club is not used to splurging on the transfer market. The British sports site The Athletic was the first to announce the agreement between the two clubs, followed by Sky Sports in Germany and several other English and German media. Just thirty, Harry Kane is on the verge of becoming the most expensive rookie in the history of the Bundesliga, ahead of the 80 million euros paid by Bayern in the summer of 2019 to bring in the French world champion Lucas Hernández. Kane is about to have his first experience abroad, at Bayern Munich, a club which has won the Champions League six times (1974, 1975, 1976, 2001, 2013, 2020).
