(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Airbus and Qatar Airways have reached a agreement to settle the lawsuit opened by the airline following the surface degradation of the A350 and the consequent detention of this type of aircraft.
The builder started a repair and safety programwhile the airline has reactivated the orders for 23 A350s undelivered e 50 A321neo upon payment by Airbus of a substantial compensation.
“The settlement agreement does not constitute an admission of liability for any of the parties – Airbus points out -. The agreement thus reached will allow Qatar Airways and Airbus to go forward and work together as partners”.
