When you ask people who work in different parts of Västerås what is special about Bäckby, many return to the fact that there is a unique spirit in the area – a pride and an unwavering love for Bäckby’s streets, squares and residents. And then all zealots of course.
Åge Ringstad is one of them. He is chairman of the Bäckby-Skälby network, which works to create well-being and security in the area, but also to arrange meetings across cultural boundaries.
