Agatha All Along: Pause at 14 minutes and 41 seconds, a major clue is hidden in the first episode of the Marvel series

Agatha All Along Pause at 14 minutes and 41 seconds

The new Marvel series has been streaming on Disney+ since September 19. But did you spot this reference in the first episode, which may be a clue for what’s to come next?

It’s been three years since we last saw Agatha Harkness on screen. The villain of the hit Marvel series WandaVision is getting its own show on Disney+, in a context where the company’s superhero productions are generating less interest than during its golden age.Avengers: Endgame. Since September 19, Agatha All Along tells the story of this witch, deprived of her powers since the events of WandaVision and stuck in the role of the intrusive neighbor in an American suburb.

When she regains possession of her memories, she seeks to recover her powers. But to do so, she will have to set up a sabbath and ally herself with other witches, against her will, and with a mysterious teenager whose identity she does not know. Marvel fans will have understood, this entertaining witch series still hides many secrets and is based on a well-known recipe of the studio: keeping the mystery about the true identity of its characters and the role they can play in the future of the MCU.

Some clues scattered throughout Agatha All Along can thus allow theories to be developed. And if you pause at the first episode, at 14 minutes and 41 seconds, you will find a major reference in the story of Agatha Harkness. While she is not yet aware of her true identity and is convinced that she is an investigator mobilized on a sordid murder, in the manner of a series in the True DetectiveAgatha (who then calls herself Agnes before recovering her memories) finds herself in an empty child’s room, looking pensive. A shot then shows a reward obtained by a young Nicholas Scratch.

Comic book fans know that Nicholas Scratch is the son of Agatha Harkness, hidden in the community of New Salem, father of the Salem Seven and especially one of the enemies of the Fantastic Four. It seems quite possible that we will find him in the rest of the series, unless we have already met him?

Could this be the mysterious teenager played by Joe Locke (Hearstopper) ? This character is in any case fueling the rumors. Other theories indicate rather that he could be Wiccan, aka Billy, one of the sons of Wanda and Vision. In any case, there is no doubt that this reference to Nicholas Scratch is not fortuitous, and that the character will probably play a major role in the sequel. The episodes ofAgatha All Along are broadcast every Thursday on Disney+.
