The 21-year-old suspect is said to belong to a group of robbers who stole thousands of euros worth of iPhones, iPads, computers and other Apple devices two years ago. According to the Public Prosecution Service, in May 2021 he was involved with at least two others in the robbery of the PostNL courier at a Woerden business park. When the delivery driver stopped with his van at a mailbox on the Touwslagersweg, a man approached him and threatened him with a knife.
