Kevin Costner can’t get enough of Westerns. As soon as the Dances with Wolves star has to take his hat off from the cowboy series Yellowstone, he announces the next revolver project. An old companion should sit in the director’s chair.
Yellowstone star Kevin Costner squeezes another western into his schedule
As Deadline reports, Costner wants to star in another western, which he is also producing. Ariel Vromen will sit in the director’s chair, who already worked with the star on The Jerico Project – Inside the Killer’s Head.

The title or story of the film is not yet known. Vromen only told Deadline that that it is a “heart projectkt” Costners act. The star is currently planning Horizon, a gigantic Western epic in The Lord of the Rings format, which is scheduled for release in 2025.
When will Kevin Costner’s new western be released in Germany?
Production of the western is scheduled to start in spring 2025, so it will be released mid-2026 at the earliest take place. It is not known whether Costner and Vromen are aiming for a theatrical release or a pure streaming release.
