Everyone in Montfoort agreed that the three schools (De Graaf Jan van Montfoort, De Howiblo and De Hobbitstee) needed a new building. But where that building should be located remained a point of discussion for years. Ultimately, the school, which serves about five hundred children, was built on Parklaan.
