During the week, several BMW cars have been subject to theft in Uppsala and the surrounding area.
Now the police are warning the public and car owners.
“Those who own BMW cars are further urged to park their cars in garages and have good supervision and lighting on driveways,” the police write.
Airbags, reversing cameras and side mirrors. These are some of the things stolen from BMW cars during the week.
At the moment, it is mainly in Uppsala, Bålsta and Knivsta that the thefts have taken place, but the police have also seen the same type of crime in other places in the country.
“The police in Region Mitt want to warn the public about this type of crime, and urge you to pay extra attention to strangers or vehicles moving in areas where BMW cars are found,” the police write on their website.
