India has had a space industry ever since the 1960s. But after the successful moon landing this summer, the conditions changed.
Today, there are 200 Indian startups in the fast-growing sector. One of them is Digantara, which is developing a kind of space version of Google maps, which should help avoid collisions in space when traffic becomes denser.
– About a million objects orbit the earth and on this platform you can see them all, says Tanveer Ahmed, Digantaras CEO.
