Perhaps you have recently taken out the sunglasses in the spring sun for the past few days.
They won’t be needed this weekend because now the weather will be gray in large parts of the country.
– Anyone who wants the real spring will have to wait, says Peter Kondrup, TV4’s meteorologist.
It has been a couple of sunny days with spring light in almost the entire country. Some have probably hoped that spring is on its way.
– The sun has flowed in several directions and during Thursday it was as much as ten degrees in several places. Among other things in Sala and Uppsala, says Peter Kondrup, TV4’s meteorologist.
In some parts of the country you can get a sunny Friday morning. In Gothenburg it can be up to nine degrees on Friday and in Skåne it is estimated to be around five degrees with good chances of sunshine. In the rest of the country, it will be a gray start to the weekend.
“The Gray Cloud”
During Saturday, large parts of the country will be covered by a cloud cover and the temperatures will be around zero.
– By and large, it is gray overcast throughout the country, with the exception of a few gaps in the north.
On Sunday, the cloudy weather continues and on the west coast it can be windy with a risk of gales.
– There it may pass through an area with a risk of rain and snow, it may mainly affect the southern west coast.
Meteorological spring
It is meteorological spring in Götaland and large parts of Svealand. Those who hope for warmth must hold out, says Peter Kondrup.
– Anyone who wants the real spring will have to wait. Those in the north may have to wait quite a long time. Probably until April and May, he says.
