It has been rumored for some time that Ramzan Kadyrov is seriously ill and has been in a coma.
But now the Chechen leader can be seen in two separate videos published on Telegram. In one of the clips, he walks and states that he exercises. He is smiling, but according to the AFP news agency, his face is swollen.
“I recommend that everyone who can’t distinguish truth from lies on the Internet take a walk, breathe some fresh air and get their thoughts in order,” he says in the second clip.
The nickname
AFP has not been able to determine when the clips were recorded. In any case, it can be interpreted as an attempt to “kill” the illness rumours, writes the news agency.
Ramzan Kadyrov is called “Putin’s attack dog” and is strongly allied with the Russian president. Technically, he is the president of Chechnya, but is increasingly called a dictator.
