After the oil spill outside Blekinge – authorities hold a joint press conference

During Sunday morning, TT-Line’s passenger ferry Marco Polo ran aground on the coast of Blekinge. All passengers had to be evacuated from the ship. No one is said to have been injured, but large amounts of oil are believed to have leaked. Now it appears that the ship ran aground twice, and leaked oil during a long journey. Some of the actors participating in the press conference are the Coast Guard, the Rescue Service and the County Administrative Board in Blekinge and MSB.
