After the Northvolt crisis – how is the green transition actually going?

The threat of bankruptcy is like a knife to the throat of the battery company Northvolt for every wage or tax payment.

LKAB, which is supposed to supply fossil-free sponge iron to the steel industry, suddenly announces that it is shutting down in Kiruna.

Two factories for fossil-free fuels, in Örnsköldsvik and Långsele, are stopped – with reference to an uncertain market.

Less gloomy location?

Lately, the dark clouds have gathered over the business community’s investments in green industry, and more and more people are asking the question whether Sweden can become a leading country in the field.
