When the men were sentenced in the district court, the prosecutor had failed to request deportation.

However, it was included in the appeal, and now the Court of Appeal for Western Sweden stiffens both the punishment and adds life imprisonment for two of the men convicted of rape, reports Göteborgs-Posten.

There are a total of four young men – between 15 and 19 years old – who are sentenced for aggravated rape against children, after they raped an underage girl in Frölunda in Gothenburg this summer.

The two oldest are sentenced to five and a half years in prison each and deportation for life, while the two younger ones are sentenced to ten months of closed youth care each.
