It has been a year since Adam Eriksson’s pulse raced until he passed out. And after feeling for a few years that something might be wrong with the heart, he was properly examined by the doctors, which the Fagersta post has previously told.
– They haven’t found what it was, or even if there is something wrong. In a way, it would be easier if I had a diagnosis, says Adam Eriksson.

Heart problems stopped the elite career
At that time, he had already gone from the Allsvenskan team Gais in Gothenburg to Avesta AIK, but after the heart problems it was time to leave the higher divisions completely.
Adam decided to move back home and restart the first team, which had been dormant for a few years. Now the team plays in division 7.
– It just feels good to be at home in Norberg and to give something back. Younger players should have role models to look up to and something to aim for without having to leave Norberg, says Adam, who is now a playing coach.
