After the fatal workplace accidents: Criticism of the closure of the Norwegian Agency for Occupational Health and Safety

It was in 2018 that the Social Democratic government opened the doors to the Norwegian Agency for Working Environment Knowledge, MYNAK, in Gävle. The assignment was to compile other people’s research on the work environment.

The current government now wants to shut down MYNAK to save money. The business shall instead be taken over by the Work Environment Agency.

Åke Sandberg is one of the country’s leading work environment researchers and he is critical of a closure of MYNAK in Gävle.

Hear the researcher’s criticism in the video and the work environment minister’s response.
