It was on Wednesday last week that a Swedish man in his 50s died during the filming of TV4’s new reality show, which involves ordinary participants climbing one of Norway’s most famous mountains.
“Berget” was supposed to be one of TV4’s new big ventures, with rapper Petter as presenter.
The contestant died in what is believed to be a case of illness while the camera was rolling. The cast and the TV crew received emergency help on site in Norway, and the production company agreed with TV4 the next day to cancel the recording.
It is unclear whether the series will be completed at all.
– All such decisions may come later. It is important not to make too big decisions too early in a situation like this, Karin Nyman told TT last week.
