A survey conducted by TV4 Nyheterna shows that several large shopping centers in Sweden are now reviewing and supplementing their security procedures regarding PDV. This after the shooting at the Emporia shopping center recently, where a man died and a woman was seriously injured. At the same time, the shop employees’ union Handels states that staff at the shopping center do not receive any training on how to act in the event of an alarm about deadly violence. – We have seen incredibly little of the practical exercises, says security expert Erik Engstrand, who is critical of the lack of practical safety exercises for shop staff.
