The train operator MTR, which runs commuter train traffic in the Stockholm area, has been required to pay a fine of SEK 64 million due to canceled train departures between January and November this year.
Last week, almost a third of the traffic was cancelled. The problems have, among other things, been due to staff shortages linked to a schedule change.
Trains are expected to start running normally again on January 2.
