The far-right Danish politician Rasmus Paludan (Tight Course) barely had time to start talking in the square at Stadsgården on Råslätt on April 14, before the church bells in the square started ringing. After the incident, Fredrik Hollertz was reported for disturbing a public gathering.
– The idea was to keep ringing the bells, but after a while there were police in every single window around the church, Fredrik Hollertz said then.
The church bells fell silent and Paludan then delivered his speech and burned a Koran. But the demonstration went smoothly and the police did not have to make any arrests. The only one who was reported to the police was the priest.
But now the preliminary investigation against him has been closed.
– I am relieved and it also feels like it became clear what my intention was, namely to create peace instead of division, says Fredrik Hollertz to P4 Jönköping.
