After Starfield, players now want a chaotic co-op game with drunk animals

Following the launch of Starfield, the game has vacated the throne as the most wanted game on Steam and the new top spot is something completely different. The second-placed co-op game Party Animals has moved up, which is a pretty chaotic successor.

What is it about? Starfield got off to a good start after its launch. It’s not yet possible to say whether things will be similar for Party Animals, but the fact is that, according to SteamDB, it is currently the most wanted game on the platform. Over 480,000 users currently want the game, which will be released on September 20, 2023.

Party Animals is significantly different than its predecessor. In short, it is a cooperative party game in which you fight against each other or team up to fight together and complete various tasks.

What does the trailer show? In Party Animals, your characters are, as the name suggests, cute little animals. Above all, these are chaotic and almost appear drunk due to the sluggish and movement-restricted controls. Just like at a real party.

The gameplay shown in the trailer is strongly reminiscent of similar titles such as Human Fall Flat, Gang Beasts or Fall Guys. The characters move around the playing field in a similarly clumsy manner and with the realistic physics engine used, this should ensure lots of laughs among friends.

    However, you can also see in the trailer that the game is probably not just about fighting against each other. Various scenes in which, for example, coal is carried around or a football is rolled around, also promise stages that can be overcome through teamwork.
