There’s no getting around Harlan Coben. At least that’s how it appears on Netflix these days, where the gigantic novel universe with 12 series is unstoppable. Also there is James Nesbitt, who many will already know from the Hobbit trilogy in the Lord of the Rings universe.

As Deadline reports, Nesbitt, Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting) and Ruth Jones (Gavin & Stacey) star in Don’t Look for Me. Nesbitt played the dwarf Bofur in the Hobbit films, making him the second lead actor in the trilogy to play a major role in Netflix’s Harlan Coben universe. His colleague Richard Armitage, who starred as Thorin Oakenshield in the fantasy series, has now appeared in four Coben adaptations.
In addition to the three main roles, large parts of the rest of the cast of Search Me are not yet known. According to a Deadline report, actors from Konklav and Ted Lasso are also in front of the camera.
The upcoming series revolves around the family man Simon (Nesbitt), who has his… save drug-addicted daughter wants. But when he manages to get her home from the street, the situation escalates into an explosion of violence. Ultimately he has to delve deep into the underworld to find his child again.
