According to the news of the Daily Mail; Brian Hernandez, 21, was arrested by security guards during Wednesday night’s attack at the Dallas Museum of Art in Texas. He later revealed to Dallas police that he had decided to destroy the priceless ancient artwork because he was angry with his girlfriend.

Three ancient Greek artifacts survived for 2500 years. They were expected to stay longer as well, until Hernandez showed up.
Hernandez’s anger was not limited to three ancient Greek artifacts. Besides ancient Greek artifacts, he also destroyed a contemporary Native American piece, a Greek cup from 540 BC, and the museum’s glass front door.

The attack began Wednesday night, when Hernandez smashed the museum’s glass front door with a metal chair. Police said security camera footage showed Hernandez using a stool to smash two storefronts and numerous ancient artworks. The combined value of two of these pieces is $5 million.
At one point, he picked up a $10,000 contemporary Indian piece and crashed into pieces on the ground. In addition, Hernandez almost killed an old Greek cup worth 100 thousand dollars.
Police, on the other hand, mentioned the value of the artifacts in their statement and said, “The items inside the destroyed showcases are rare ancient artifacts that are extremely valuable and one-of-a-kind.”
In addition to damaged artifacts, Hernandez also damaged a phone, a computer and a bank. According to early estimates, the cost of Hernandez’s wrath is $5 million 153 thousand.
