Ever since the announcement of a new Fantastic Four film in the MCU, fans have been eagerly awaiting it Cast Member Reveal. Most recently it was said that all names had been finalized and would be announced shortly after the actors’ Hollywood strike ended.

Now there is the first concrete information about the new Fantastic Four cast. The Mandalorian and The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal is said to be there.

As the Hollywood Reporter reports, Pascal will be the team leader Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic star in the upcoming Marvel reboot. He is currently reportedly still in negotiations for the superhero part. The star’s busy schedule is said to play an important role.

New Fantastic Four film has to fix mega-flop

The last Fantastic 4 film adaptation by Josh Trank was released in 2015 and was a huge flop. According to Box Office Mojo, the superhero blockbuster grossed just over $167 million at the global box office on a budget of $120 million.

WandaVision director Matt Shakman’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot must not just save the brand, but also create a suitable MCU connection. With Pedro Pascal, a well-known star would be on board the Marvel blockbuster.

The new Fantastic Four film is due on April 30, 2025 start in German cinemas. Further cast announcements about characters such as Sue and Johnny Storm as well as Ben Grimm are expected to follow shortly.
