As announced today, Amazon Games is working with the developer studio Disruptive Games on a new action-adventure with a focus on online multiplayer. Not much has been revealed yet, but what we do know, we’ll show you here on MeinMMO.
What is known so far? After New World and Lost Ark, Amazon announces the next great online adventure. Together with the developers of Disruptive Games, a whole new brand / IP is created.
This is an online multiplayer action-adventure. It will be a multiplatform title that focuses on cooperative and competitive gameplay.

Mobile game with survival approaches?
What game could it be? Currently it is still completely unclear what kind of game it is. More information will be available later.
However, some conclusions can already be drawn from some statements by those responsible and the information known so far:
It’s only a concept art – but with an upright picture the mobile bells start ringing immediately. The reference to the “multiplatform title” can also be interpreted in this way. Similar to Diablo Immortal, this new game could also run on PC and mobile, maybe also on consoles.
The images feature typical survival mechanics, such as a character wielding a pickaxe and a campfire that might provide warmth, but will definitely provide food.
Firearms can also be found. A survival game with a large proportion of PvP, such as Rust, would be possible, in which players fight for scarce resources on a large map and defend their base.
The hints of an action-adventure also suggest that the world invites exploration and tells a story. The Forest demonstrated how to implement something like this in a cooperative game – Amazon could still throw in PvP. By the way, a sequel to The Forest is in the works.
At the Disruptive Games studio, the name says it all. One wants to “challenge the established rules of game design and game development”.
Christoph Hartmann, Vice President of Amazon Games, adds: “Disruptive Games brings a breath of fresh air to the multiplayer action-adventure genre, with strong game design and rich worldbuilding.”
What exactly is behind the project cannot yet be said with certainty. However, the developers of Disruptive Games have already gained a lot of experience and have implemented the following projects, among others:
