Last year, a third of the students in the ninth grade did not meet the goals and thus lacked eligibility for a national program in high school. This was a sharp decrease compared to before.
But this year, the eligibility figures have improved. From 67 percent last year to almost 80 percent this year.
Worked extensively with the issues
According to the person in charge at the municipality, this is due to strategic investments that have been made, in both the short and long term.
– Among other things, we have invested in more education about NPF diagnoses and law school, says Eva-Lena Årmyr who works with development at the education administration in Ånge municipality.
