SD leader Mattias Karlsson has been involved in writing a manifesto with far-right conspiracy theories about Sweden, internal documents that Kalla fakta have seen show. The manifesto describes how a social elite tries to replace Swedish culture with radical Islam, something experts say can inspire acts of violence. Baudin: “Concerned” The Social Democrats’ party secretary Tobias Baudin describes the manifesto as a conspiracy theory. – Of course it’s busy. But just because it’s embarrassing, you can’t just wave it away, but I think that way of spreading an image of Sweden and the rest of the world is really, really bad. Mattias Karlsson says that he does not stand behind individual formulations in the text, but that it generally points out a direction in Swedish social development that he thinks is correct. “Can go home to Putin” Mikael Odenberg, the former moderate defense minister, calls the text “rappakalja”. – It is an image that can only go home with Putin and some right-wing extremist circles in the USA. If this kind of thinking spreads, it is certainly not a strength for our country and for our democracy. In the player above: See the politicians’ reactions
