The course of events surrounding whether or not to allow the student protest in the Moreelspark in Utrecht today raises a number of questions. The FNV trade union says it is deeply displeased and there are also grumblings from the council. Mayor Sharon Dijksma says that the signals were serious enough to cancel the large national demonstration: “I have never seen the triangle issue such advice before.”
