Murhaf Hamid has sold the most of all May flower sellers ever, according to the National Association of May Flowers. When SVT Nyheter Skåne visited him on Monday, he had sold for almost 250,000 kroner, but after that sales increased explosively and on the second visit, on Tuesday, he had reached over two million kroner.
– The fact that I sold so many May flowers has boosted my confidence in myself, that I will be able to handle more things in life, says Murhaf Hamid.
It was after a friend of Murhaf and his family posted a post on social media that sales took off. The post went viral and was noticed by several media outlets. People all over the country have bought flowers from Murhaf in Majblomman’s digital store.
