In the evening of September 11, 2021, a spiritual group of six people conducted research outside opening hours into energies of deceased persons at Rusthof cemetery in Leusden. The director of Rusthof had given the green light for this, but relatives knew nothing. In total, the group spent three and a half hours investigating, using balls of lights that would light up when certain energies were detected.
The spiritual session came to light when a father found a camera near his child’s grave in early October and discovered that the group had also been at the children’s graves in the dark. This led to indignation, anger and sadness among relatives.
