The comedy by film legend Mel Brooks originally had the addition “Part One”, but a sequel was a long time coming. That changes this year with the four part series History of the World, Part II. What is Mel Brooks’ cult comedy and its sequel about?
In the original, Mel Brooks rattled off important milestones in world history in several episodes and gave them a whole new … interpretation in sketches. So Told The Mad Story of the World how music was invented in the Stone Age and why Moses presented only ten commandments.
In the four-part sequel to the American streaming service Hulu, slave liberator Harriet Tubman (Wanda Sykes) sees an agreement stupid Southerners opposite while New Girl star Jake Johnson performs his Marco Polo. Ideas from the fake trailer for part 2, which was at the end of The Crazy Story of the World, do not appear. We’ll probably have to do without figure skaters Hitler and Jews in space for the time being.

History of the World Part II cast includes Johnny Knoxville (Jackass), Marvel director Taika Waititi (Thor 3+4), DC star Zazie Beetz (Joker), Emily Ratajkowski (Gone Girl) and Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philly).
96-year-old Mel Brooks is producing the series and co-wrote the series alongside Nick Kroll (Big Mouth), Wanda Sykes (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Ike Barinholtz (The Sex Pact).
In the US, the series will be released on March 6, 2023 published, there is no German start date yet.
