After more than a year of radio silence, the US cable channel is now doing something AMC emerges as the savior of the end-time train journey. The Snowpiercer series is the second adaptation of the French comic Le Transperceneige aka Schneekreuzer, following the film version by Parasite director Bong Joon-ho. As in every version, it’s about an enormously long train with a mysterious perpetual motion drive that goes to the end of the world drives through the desolate ice desertwhich is left of the earth.

There is a strict class hierarchy on board depending on the position of the wagon, which arouses revolutionary ambitions in the less well-off wagons at the rear.
