After 17 hours of play, player realizes he clicks too much

Mouse clicking is one of the most common actions PC players perform in Diablo 4. One player has now discovered that it is too much work for him and that he doesn’t have to click as much as he thought.

In Diablo 4, PC players click to move around, interact with objects, and fight enemies – as long as they haven’t changed the key assignment. There are also various skills that can be assigned to the mouse buttons.

After 17 hours of playing Diablo 4, a PC player noticed that he was clicking way too often. He could actually save himself a few clicks with his huntress build. On Reddit, he asked what obvious things other players had only figured out later. Many were able to reassure him and tell him about their “stupidities.”

With each season, new features await Diablo 4 players, which sometimes raise questions. This is probably also the case in the first expansion, “Vessel of Hatred,” which will be released on October 8th:

Why does the player click too much? The user “jewbacca7777” reports on Reddit that after 17 hours of playing time he discovered something that affects his hunter’s Heartseeker build. He clicks the mouse button far too often – but he doesn’t have to:

I’ve been playing Diablo 4 for a while now and decided to take a break from my Bash Barb and level up a Huntress. […] I click arrow after arrow like a madman for three days.

Then, at level 95 – after 17 damn hours of play – I discover something that would make any sane person throw their hand over their face. You can just hold down the left mouse button! Yes, the whole time I was clicking like a madman for every single Heartseeker arrow, and I could have [die Taste] just… hold it down. One click. Done.

What the hell, man? Why am I risking carpal tunnel syndrome?

He asks the community whether “anyone else has found out a stupid, obvious thing way too late.” And indeed, many are able to reassure him with their comments, in which they report on their own experiences and failures.

The Huntress’ Heartseeker build is currently at the top of the tier list for the strongest builds in the endgame of Season 4:

“I’ve learned that now”

What did the other players do? The top comment with over 500 upvotes comes from “Pernpiotr”. He writes: “Don’t feel bad. I just found out that you can reset dungeons. I always restarted my game when I wanted to re-summon a boss.” And “HarmonyinSilence” even ran to the exit of the dungeon every time instead of simply teleporting out via the emote wheel.

To summon bosses again, you have to reset the dungeon via the map. To do this, you also have to leave the dungeon, which can be particularly annoying in group play. With Season 5, the developers are changing the mechanics – and many players seem to be happy about this.

“VerbalHologram777” writes: “It’s okay man, after 2 characters with max level glyphs and hours of galloping around the map I found out that you can teleport directly to Nightmare Dungeons.”

The user “JustTooGinger” can apparently help others who react with surprise with his tip. He writes: “I just learned after 4 seasons that you can right-click on your glyphs to increase the level immediately […].” “jagoble” replies: “Thank you. I’ve learned that now.”

And “warden182” admits: “I didn’t know that you could replace aspects of legendaries until I was about level 85 this season.” User “BatDad488” only just discovered that you can rotate paragon boards. “I’m level 100 and have played most of the seasons,” he notes.

Another player recently discovered that he can save himself unnecessary trips to the pit. The pit is a new endgame activity that was added in Diablo 4 in Season 4, where you get important crafting mats. The player has now realized that he is making unnecessary runs to farm the mats. He was unaware of a simple mechanic.
