In Burkina Faso, the singer Miss Tanya, active on the scene in her country since 2019, decided to simply call herself Tanya. However, she has lost none of her Miss title. Today, Tanya is a reference in musical creation. The Burkinabè diva, native of Cinkansé, has just released the single Fiesta in which the atmosphere is festive. This new release composed by Mr Soul is supported by Takou Productions. This track with an amapiano rhythm lives up to Tanya’s latest creations: catchy, warm and effective. Throughout the year, Gloria Bash, the young singer from eastern DRC, took center stage at the rate of one single per quarter. “ To kufi ” (FEBRUARY), ” Mbele » (May) and « Cascade » (August) preceded “Toza Bien”. This last song is the opportunity for Gloria Bash to formalize the start of her activities with her new label Black Star France. The holding company, based in Russia and founded in 2006 by Cameroonian Walter Tchassem and local rapper Timati, launched in France in association with Gims. The Ivorian artist Dorty is revealed thanks to his project Afro Beats Ivory defended by the title “ Here’s me! »
Like many of us, you probably haven’t yet heard of Afrobeats Ivory, a style and project led by Dorty. The artist is Ivorian through his mother and Nigerian through his father. This explains why his music is deeply imbued with the Afrobeats movement in Nigeria. Dorty adds his personal touch to this, drawing inspiration from his Bété and Yoruba roots. His mastery of French, English and especially Nouchi, the Ivorian urban language, makes his texts captivating. Despite the fact that Dorty has been making music since 2017, he first stood out for his clothing, not hesitating to wear skirts or dresses that he designed and made himself. Once the public’s attention was focused on him, Dorty continued to release new releases, to the point of being compared to Nigerian star Asake. He started the year 2024 with a series entitled Afro Beats Ivorythe third episode of which has just arrived in stores. Always in a fusion of languages and cultures which offers its audience an authentic musical experience, anchored in the richness and diversity of Côte d’Ivoire.
