The Gabonese ADB, Troy and Jey RspctMe reveal Mangambatheir priority collaboration for this end of year
ADB achieves a record 2024. From January 11, he proposed the title Give Me which followed his debut album Dibal Famous released in April 2023. ADB then followed up with a series of hit tracks. Starting with Ngongongon in duo with RSK (March 2024), closely followed by the hit of the year Chouminous in duet with Tommy Tom (April 2024). Two months later, he invited his compatriot Don’zer to the title Oh My God (June 2024). A diligent regularity which brings us to the piece Mangamba, his latest production, in the company of Troy and Jey RspctMe from the Club Clvssic collective. Together, the three artists claim that they are the kings of their art in Gabon. The lively production is by the excellent Very Nice. The least we can say is that this song is effective and completely designed to make you dance at the end of the year.

Wally Ballago Seck pleases his audience and finally releases the video for Ya Tay, his new single in collaboration with Baye Mass. An illustration of the artistic evolution of Wally who has gradually opened up in recent years to new modes of urban music. In Nigeria, Ruger and Tiwa Savage sample a song by the group Coldplay to Toma Toma
Ruger has recruited Tiwa Savage for his thrilling new single Toma Toma. A song with an afro baile funk rhythm from Brazil that combines with an instrumental of the song Clocks (2002) sampled by the British group Coldplay. The composition is by Kukbeatz. Tiwa Savage and her captivating voice bring a more international flavor to the song. 2024 was a successful year for Ruger, whose joint EP with BNXN RnB garnered over 27 million streams and ranked #1 on Spotify and Apple Music in Nigeria. Summer singles, Luv Again And Make Waymade their contribution to the building. Ruger has also headlined several festivals in Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto, as well as in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The Tanzanian Rayvanny and the Ghanaian King Promise find themselves in the title Angelina
Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, who you know by his stage name Rayvanny, is one of the most prolific artists of his generation in Tanzania. To put it simply, each of his releases in 2024 has exceeded one million views on YouTube with disconcerting ease. He invited Ghanaian star King Promise to his latest production Angelina which, in two weeks, is heading towards a million streams. Founder of the label Next Music, Rayvanny appeared in the spotlight thanks to his first song Kwetu. Which caught the attention of Diamond Platnumz who joined him on his hit Tetema in 2019. Since then, Rayvanny has had a string of red carpets and awards, becoming the first African artist to perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2021 alongside Colombian Maluma on the South American version of Tetema. King Promise will be in concert on November 30 at Trabendo in Paris.
Togolese rapper Etane Blex surprises with ancestral singing Perfect Dad
Togolese rapper Dotse Mawunyegan Kossi, better known by his stage name Etane Blex, has been active in his country’s afro-urban music since 2011. He stood out thanks to titles such as forever Young,Viagra or even Mepigan. His first album Mepigan arrived in stores in 2019, which allowed him to attract a wider audience. In the year 2022, Etane Blex believes that it is high time to release a second album. He released Amegan with no less than 21 titles on the clock and several collaborations notably with Black T, King Mensan, Mic Flammez, Toofan, Santrinos Raphaël, Tony X or even Almok, Suspect 95 and DJ Spinall from Nigeria. Always looking for renewal, Etane Blex returned last March Step by step with Kiko. And he continues with Papa Perfect to end his recording year 2024. The legend of soukous, Awilo Longomba, and the young leader Innoss’B have unveiled the atmospheric single Mbongo Na Ngai Moko. Two years after his explosive participation in the title Maboko Milayi from Innoss’B, Awilo Longomba returns the favor. The two artists from different generations of Congolese music return once again to make the public dance. Mbongo Na Ngai Moko is a Ndombolo musical production, dominated by a masterful solo guitar from the famous Congolese musical genre. An unexpected electric vintage touch that the video enriches with the retro costumes of the extras. Awilo Longomba and Innoss’B send a message to the envious in this song in which they earn money to party every night.
In Kenya, rapper Khaligraph Jones and singer Bridget Blue bring a hip hop classic back to life with The Mack Is Back
Khaligraph Jones and Bridget Blue surprised everyone with a new retro song. Titled The Mack Is Back, this new song takes the listener back in time to the origins of hip hop old schoolrarely listened to today. The song is sampled from Mark Morrison’s classic hit, Return Of The Mack (1996). Bridget Blue introduces the song with her r’n’b voice, with lyrics in Swahili and English. Khaligraph Jones continues the song with punchlines felt good. In this song, ego is the common thread. The two protagonists invite the listener to celebrate without moderation for the duration of a song played on the radio, like in the 1990s. The alchemy between Khaligraph Jones and Bridget Blue has its effect and the clip of this duo is in agreement with the theme.
