The aircraft manufacturer Boeing is avoiding the civil lawsuit that threatened the company, which was supposed to start on Tuesday, reports news agency AFP. According to several AFP sources, the deal was reached at the last minute, but still requires a judge’s approval.
The legal proceedings of the relatives of those who died in the accident have been divided into several lawsuits. The next court hearing is scheduled to begin in April, if all claims cannot be settled.
It is about the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash that happened in 2019, in which 157 people were killed. The accident plane was a Boeing 737 Max.
