Three years after the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan, their desire to silence women seems to have no limits. The UN is concerned this Sunday, August 25, about a new law “on morality” promulgated last Wednesday by the Ministry of Justice. A law applied by the powerful Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (PVPV), which will thus strengthen its grip on Afghan society and further distance women from public life.
