NVIDIA RTX 3050 with 6 GB VRAM, developed as an affordable graphics card alternative for game lovers, was displayed on Citilink’s website. The graphics card, which is expected to be released in February 2024, is among the three new models of Nvidia’s GPU brand partner Palit. These are RTX 3050 StormX, StormX OC and KalmX. According to leaked information, these cards have 6 GB GDDR6 VRAM capacity.
RTX 3050 has 115W TGP value
According to Citilink’s list, the KalmX model stands out as the fanless variant of the RTX 3050. However, it is a matter of curiosity how the passive cooler will handle long gaming sessions. Looking at the technical specifications of the RTX 3050 6 GB, it appears that the GPU has 115W TGP. The 8 GB model currently on the market has 130W TGP. The new product consumes 13 percent less power than the previous one.
It should be noted that since Nvidia has not yet confirmed the existence of this graphics card, there may be some changes until it is released. Aside from lower VRAM capacity, this new diminutive graphics card may also have slightly lower performance.
