Affects 56000 road users Reasonable for the amount of fine

In the days, the fine was raised for an incorrectly mounted LGF sign, from SEK 500 to SEK 1,500, something we have reported on earlier.

-The popularity of the tractors is one of the biggest changes in the traffic environment in recent years. This places higher demands on how these vehicles are managed, says Jacob Sidenvall Press Secretary at the National Association M Sweden.

This is stated in a press release.

Big difference in speed

A-tractors and moped cars are allowed to drive a maximum of 30 and 45 km/h, respectively.

That is why the LGF sign has been developed to clearly show that the vehicle type is moving slower than other traffic.

-A clearly visible and pure LGF sign is crucial for co-drivers with higher speeds to get a warning that it is not a car, but an A-tractor you are in the race, says Jacob Sidenvall. It is reasonable that the fine is raised.

A matter of security

A-tractors are the beginning of a car interest for many and is a way of expressing their personality. An example of this is that you modified your LGF sign to better fit the vehicle.

With the increase, the idea is that it should be more daunting and thus favors road safety.

-The tractor is a unique opportunity for Swedish youth and if you follow the rules it should not be a problem to give them this freedom, says Jacob Sidenvall.
