Sony’s Afeela offers access to 3D maps and augmented reality views, thanks to Unreal Engine 5.3 technology. Unreal Engine is also used for training purposes in virtual environments in the vehicle’s multi-camera systems.
Sony Honda Mobility announced that it will collaborate with Microsoft to leverage Azure AI cloud computing in the development of Afeela.
